Jourdan began dancing at age 3. She has trained at Dancin' Feet, A Time to Dance, Ballet Conservatory, and Denton Ballet Academy. Her training has included tap and Jazz with Buster Cooper and Ballet and Pointe with Keith Duncan. She has performed various rolls in the Nutcracker with both Lakecities ballet theater and festival ballet. Jourdan was accepted to Joffery Ballet academy's summer program, but instead spent the time take classes with the University of Oklahoma’s ballet company. After a few years break, Jourdan returned to ATTD in 2006, where Jourdan teaches Ballet and tap, and occasionally jazz, and Mommy and Me classes. Jourdan was also the accountant and office Manager at A Time to Dance for four years. Jourdan is a member of the Cecchetti Council of America and is certified to teach Grades I through IV. Jourdan and her husband Brolen are thrilled to have their daughter, Tatum, at ATTD.

Teresa Cooper is a Senior Lecturer at UNT with a MA degree in Dance, Theatre and Rehabilitation. She also holds a Cecchetti VI (Intermediate Professional) certification. She developed the ballet program for A Time To Dance Studio over twenty years ago, and has taught classes and directed several of their full-length ballets, including Roar of Love, and Ordinary's Dream. She is Vice-Chairmen and former Chairman of the Cecchetti Southwest Committee, and is on the board of the CORPS de Ballet International (an organization that focuses on the needs of ballet instructors in higher education.) She has choreographed, performed, and presented at International, Regional, and Local venues, including several collaborations with Christopher Deane of the UNT music faculty. Her deep respect and love for Modern Dance was first discovered with her mentor, Sandi Combest, and is wed with her love for ballet fostered by her first ballet teacher, George Skibine, and her Cecchetti coach, Dr. Kathleen Tenniswood-Powell. She has mentored several students from both A Time To Dance Studio, and from UNT that have gone on to pursue careers in dance. She is very grateful to be able to teach at a dance studio where faith in God, and the love of a child are so important.

Corine began training at the age of 9 in Jazz, Tap, Floor Gymnastics, and both Vaganova and Cecchetti Ballet Methods. She began dancing professionally at the age of 14 in Houston, TX with such roles as "Clara" in the Nutcracker and with other corporate entertainment companies. Although a two time scholarship recipient to the University of North Texas Dance Dept, Mrs. Rowe graduated with a Counseling Education Degree. Some of her dance training consist of working with Leo Ahonen, Soili Arvola, Gilbert Rome, Houston Ballet Academy, Adamson Ballet School, James Clouser, Sandi Combest, Cecchetti International Summer School, Gisela Genschow and many other teachers from around the globe. As a member of the Cecchetti Council of America Corine passed her Teacher's Grade I & II exams highly commended. Since 1991, Corine has become a seasoned teacher and has experience in teaching for many organizations, some include: Dance Arts Los Alamos, Jacques D'amboise's National Dance Institute, Denton Dance Conservatory, Dance Ingredients, and A Time to Dance. Guest teaching includes Carrollton Christian Academy, Diane-Cole Johnson Dance Studio, Art of Dance, Univ. of North Texas, Dallas Ballet Center, Leap of Faith Dance Center, and Cecchetti Ballet Seminars. Corine has a keen eye for technique and passion for teaching. Corine feels so blessed and gives glory to God for all of these life experiences that has molded her into who she is today.

   Kim Grover-Haskin

Kim Grover-Haskin, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Professor in the Dept. of Dance and Theatre at the University of North Texas. She obtained her B.S. from the State University of New York at Potsdam, New York, her M.S. from the University of Oregon and her Ph.D. from Texas Woman’s University. Kim served Texas Woman’s University as Director of Instructional Operations for many years focusing on classroom instructional technology and IT Service Management. Her dance studies include humor in dance and the creative process. Currently, Kim is serving as Chairman of the Southwest Committee CCA. She has teacher certifications through Grade V and is anticipating examining for the Intermediate Advanced level Grade VI Fall 2013. Kim wrote and produced A Time to Dance’s recital in 2012, entitled Screens

Ashley Powell, originally from South Carolina, began dancing at age 3 and trained with D&S Talent, Trinity Arts Performing Arts Studio, and King David Christian Conservatory. She also performed professionally with Glory Dance Company, Expressions Dance Company, opened for Ballet Magnificat, and was a featured soloist and rockette in the Charlotte Philharmonic. Ashley received the Dance Revolution Senior scholarship in 2004 and also received many other awards for her choreography and dancing throughout her teenage years. In 2004, Ashley moved to Houston, TX to further her dance training at the age of 17 and became a trainee with Ad Deum Dance Company. While in Houston, Ashley also was a company member of Xtended Urban Dance Company, under director Karin Celeste. In 2006, Ashley moved to Dallas, TX to join Ingredients Dance Company with Dance Revolution Ministries, under the direction of Michelle Brogan. She performed at many events, outreaches, and churches such as Firestorm with Reinhard Bonnke, Gateway Church conferences, Covenant Church, women’s prison ministries, The MOVEment, and other various performances, as well as, touring across the nation with Dance Revolution Dance Convention. Ashley is a teacher and choreographer with over 14 years of experience and loves to teach and create. She has taught and choreographed for a myriad of events, conferences, workshops, and master

classes all over NC, SC, MD, PA, WV and TX. She is looking forward to a new season with her students. To God be the glory forever.

Elise Kramer is originally from Rockford, Illinois. She has trained in various types of dance including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Modern. Before moving to Dallas, she danced at Steps to Grace Dance Academy and performed with their ensemble team for 7 years. She trained and toured the country with Ingredients Dance Company from 2010-2012. Elise is excited to be back another year with A Time to Dance where she will be teaching Hip Hop, Jazz, and Modern. She also works in the office. She is always thrilled to get the chance to instruct other dancers on how to grow in their movement and technique and to help them learn what God has called them to do with their gifts and talents. And most importantly how to worship God in everything they do!

Kathryn began dancing at the age of 3. She has trained with A Time to Dance for 15 years in ballet, jazz and modern. She has performed with various churches and organizations including Gateway Church, Project Dance, and Dance Revolution.

At the age of 17, she began teaching dance for a mother's day out program at Asbury United Methodist Church. In 2011-2012 she trained with Ingredients Dance Company, and toured the country performing and assisting classes with Dance Revolution. Kathryn is very excited to be able to teach at A Time To Dance and bless children through the gifts God has given her. She loves using dance to worship God and speak to others, and she is excited to share that passion with her students.

Sarah grew up dancing in the Houston area where she trained at Profusion Performing Arts. She became a member of Benaiah Dance Company in 2004 and was co-director of X-Tended Urban Dance Company in 2006.  In 2007 Sarah became a trainee during the pioneer year of Ingredients Training Program and the following summer she married Daniel Black and moved to the piney woods of East Texas where she trained at Kilgore College and instructed Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Hip Hop at The Dance Studio under Tena Vogel. Sarah has choreographed for and performed in the Dance Revolution showcase, at Project Dance in New York City, and she is currently the Director of Dance for ArtLife Summer Youth Camp. She now lives with her husband in Denton, Tx, where she choreographs, performs and facilitates the dance portion of The 5 Dragon Daughter production. She is also a certified yoga instructor and has taught group and individual classes.

Sarah loves movement, dancing and utilizing the art form as a lens through which we explore life and purpose here on the earth. She believes that every moment is a gift, and movement art, as a momentary art form, is a beautiful reminder of that. Sarah looks forward to instructing and encouraging her students to engage in the process of dance and to become everything they were intended to be.

Susan has been part of the ATTD family for over 16 years, starting when her daughter (Melissa Dolan Butterbaugh) was a teenager taking classes and continuing with us as Melissa became one of our teachers.  She is a graduate of Coe College, a small college in Cedar Rapids, IA, with a major in Business Admin/Accounting.  Susan is a veteran home-school mom, starting her 23rd year of home educating in Fall 2011. Originally from Wisconsin, Susan and her husband Pat have 6 kids, 4 grandkids, and enjoy camping, family activities, and serving at Sojourn Church on the Altar Team, Personal Ministry Team and the Sojourn Home School Network.

Dr. Barbara Barnick-Ben- Ezra

Barbara Barnick-Ben-Ezra is an Adjunct Professor in the Dept. of Dance and Theatre at the University of North Texas and in the Dept. of Kinesiology at Texas Woman’s University.  She also teaches dance at the Denton Senior Center where she is the director of the “Syncopated Ladies” performing tap dance company.  Barbara earned her PhD in Dance and Related Arts at Texas Woman’s University, and a MA and BA in Physical Education and Dance at Miami University.  She is teacher certified K-12 in Dance, Physical Education and Health.  As a Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington (’82-’97) she served as Dance Program Director and founded and directed the University Dance Ensemble.

Cimone Heisner has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She danced with Joan and LouAnne’s Dance Art Center for nine years on and off through high school. While she was in was in high school Cimone was on the Lake Dallas Drill Team and was 1st Lieutenant her senior year. Cimone attended A Time To Dance Studio for a year after graduating high school, while attending NCTC, and decided that dancing was what she wanted to do to make a living, so she is currently a student at UNT and plans on graduating in May of 2015 with a BFA in Dance! Cimone has a wonderful, loving, supportive husband, Carlos, and a beautiful little girl, Camden who is changing their lives every day. Cimone’s  love, faith , and trust in the Lord is growing every day and is enjoying everything that she has learned from Him so far in her life and looking forward to the rest of her walk with Him.
